I'm crazy for everything Jessie Randall says--and designs--and this is no exception. I don't own any of her shoes, unless you count a pair of metallic flats from the Loeffler Randall for Target collection that I loved so much I bought twice. I count it.
Not only does she consistently create some of the most gorgeously classic shoes around (I'll take these and these, please), but she's also a totally cool Brooklyn girl who has admitted to finding style inspiration from grandmas and dolls (i.e. my two biggest fashion icons).
And as if I didn't respect her already, the lady owns fifteen pairs of boots. FIFTEEN! Sure, that's what she does for a living, but that makes me six pairs feel awfully insignificant, and I consider myself a boot girl to begin with.
I'm curious: how many pairs of boots do you have?
P.S. Jessie's on the cover of Matchbook Magazine this month, where she says adorable things like that Fifi Lapin is her style icon and Brooklyn is her favorite city (OMG, mine too).

i think i could easily own 15 pairs of boots in the winter! i get so tired of wearing the same ones over and over again! jessie randall sounds like your perfect fashion counterpart :)
ReplyDeleteI respect any woman that own 15 pairs of boots! She sounds like an amazing designer! I didn't know that she had a collection with Target. You are so lucky to have 2 pairs of shoes by her!

I own six pairs of boots, too, and I could easily see myself owning 15 later in life! I'm a self-proclaimed boot girl, too. I can't get by in the colder months without them. They're practical, stylish, and come in all sorts of styles.

If only I could afford even six pairs of boots.. I have two! Riding style & LL Bean boots.
ReplyDeleteI think I have nine pairs of boots...11 if you count rain boots. When it's actually cold in the winter I basically live in boots so I never feel guilty about buying another pair.
ReplyDeleteI have 11, counting my rain boots and snow boots and such. however, I live in them all fall, winter, and spring and even where them during the summer on occasion.
ReplyDeleteToo many boots is the answer - especially if we're counting booties. I have to force myself to work other shoes into the rotation in the fall/winter because boots are literally all I want to wear. I've been basically living in the same pair of Michael Kors wedge motorcycle boots for months no. And I feel no shame about it.
